It covers almost 1,000 square miles and stretches from the river Humber and Spurn Point in the East – up the western edge to the Towns and Villages of Pocklington – Market Weighton and Stamford Bridge – and to Bempton & Flamborough to the north. It is just 31 km from unitary authoraty. From South east of Scarbrough it is 26 km far. It is only 288 km far from north side of London.
