Location: Immediately east of Sewerby and west of Flamborough
Danes Dyke Bridlington is situated south side of headland of Flamborough. It is also one of the famous and tourism area of Bridlington. It is a bank and ditch earthwork ‘wall’ which cut off Flamborough peninsula from the mainland. It covers around 4 km from north to south part of flamborough. It was intended as a defensive structure to protect headland settlements. At the southern end of Danes Dyke is a nature reserve and parking areas giving access to a network of footpaths. The beach at Danes Dyke is an impressive 1km stretch of sand, striking white pebbles and rock pools, bound by imposing cliffs to the east and west. South side of it has car parking for visitors. Many people come here to visit and have fun.
